AKARI
Akari is light. It investigates its properties and the way it travels through the air. Light, half-light, shadow, darkness. The need we feel of getting close to a ray of light to warm our skin and why we all close our eyes when we do.
We put hurdles to avoid its advance, always in a straight line, always in a straight line…we have seen it in the eyes of the other and we feel how it sometimes seeps into us and floods us.
It then seems to shoot out of the flesh in every finger and that it surrounds our body as we walk. It escapes through our chest and our gaze advances forward, always in a straight line.
Through dance, the interior light in each of us shines in a unique, special way.
