As part of the celebrations for the 40th anniversary of Delirium Teatro, it is presenting a round table on emerging and established companies, an event that will bring together prominent artists and creators from the Canarian theatre scene to tackle the process of how companies develop and establish themselves on the Islands. The event, moderated by the renowned playwright Luis O'Malley, will take place on 26 March at 7.30 p.m. in the hall ‘La Salita’ at the Auditorio de Tenerife.

This intergenerational and pluralistic dialogue will involve the participation of key figures in contemporary theatre: Mario Vega, a renowned director and producer, who will share his wealth of experience in cultural management and the creation of shows that have made an impact in Spain and internationally; Gaviera, the emerging company that has committed to innovation and exploration of the body as a stage language since it was founded in 2022; Cabaret Papaya, a young and bold initiative that blends humour, social critique and music in its unique approach to cabaret; Rosa Escrig, the creator of new plays, original texts and a stage language in which the soundscape acquires a special importance; and Delirium Teatro, a benchmark on the Canarian scene that will contribute its experience in establishing a theatre company and its perspective on the evolution of theatre in the archipelago.

The discussion will provide an enriching look at the dynamics of producing theatre, exploring emerging companies' challenges and opportunities while celebrating well-established trajectories. Participants will share their vision of the future of theatre in the Canaries, the importance of experimentation and artistic commitment in an ever-changing cultural context. It will be a chance to discover the voices and stories shaping the present and future of the theatre produced on the archipelago.

Entry will be allowed until full capacity is reached.
