Born in the United States, she grew up between Hawaii and Japan. From a very young age, she dedicated herself to music, forming a trio with which she performs at numerous shows, and jazz festivals, and on radio and television programs in countries such as Germany, England, Spain, Holland, Belgium, Latvia, Myanmar, Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia, Japan, and India.
Her passion for music spans several fields; she is not only a singer, composer, and arranger but also has a strong interest in music education. This dedication has led her to be invited to conduct various jazz seminars around the world over the past few years. Well-known in the Spanish music scene, she has spent time living in Spain, where she collaborated on projects with Max Sunyer, Joan Bibiloni, Carles Benavent, and Salvador Niebla, contributing not only vocals but also lyrics to their compositions that belong to a more Mediterranean style of jazz.
Deborah has released eight CDs, with her latest being a rerelease of her jazz tribute to the Beatles, titled "Daytripper." This year, she is set to release a songbook of Chick Corea’s compositions called "Armando."
In Europe, Deborah performs with various groups, participating in theatre tours, workshops, festivals, and other types of concerts. She has also served as a Jazz Singing Teacher at the prestigious Musikene School of Music in San Sebastián, Spain, and later at the Institute of Music at the University of Osnabrück in Germany.
