Six Organs of Admittance is the primary solo project of Ben Chasny, an American guitarist dedicated to the genres of indie rock and psychedelic folk. Largely guitar-based, Chasny's music is often considered new folk, although it also reflects other influences with its use of drones, chimes and eclectic percussive elements. His performance as the closing act of the NUMAcircuit 2025 festival completes an extensive 30-concert tour throughout Europe that began on 13 February. He released three recordings in 2024: the acclaimed ‘Time Is Glass’, ‘Jinxed by Being’ (in collaboration with Shackleton) and ‘Companion Rises’ (Twig Harper Remix). Behind this trifecta is a career spanning 25 years of performing and recording, years of releases and tours in which he honed his craft and refined his expression, culminating in a style that can be described as personal, intimate and, to some extent, cosmic.
