PROKÓFIEV’S SYMPHONY-CONCERTO
Not all composers were attracted by the avant-garde ground-breaking stance. In these late pieces he makes European tradition his own and combines it with popular and traditional music like folklore rhythms or music from religious celebrations. There is even a sax, so uncommon in orchestras!
