The opening of the Auditorio de Tenerife in 2003 by the Cabildo Insular de Tenerife gave a major boost to the cultural sector on the island. Throughout these fifteen years, the activity generated around this building has brought together more than 2,700,000 people. This has led this venue to become the leading show production centre in the Canary Islands.

Auditorio de Tenerife has become a benchmark in national and international culture in different genres and projects, but it has also been the venue of great social events. In the 2003-2019 period, Auditorio de Tenerife has carried out many different programmes that have taken place both in the building and in different municipalities across the Island aimed at delocalizing our activity.

The Ópera de Tenerife and the Sinfónica de Tenerife seasons are the main features in our programme. Other noteworthy regular shows include Tenerife Danza, which encompasses the main activities related to dance and the outreach activities of Danza en Comunidad or the pedagogic unit TP Danza.

Through this Memorias de actividad [Activity Reports] we wish to gather the activities Auditorio de Tenerife has offered the community in different seasons, starting by the 2018-2019 season.

We wish to thank attending audiences for their warmth. We are all building an Island with more culture.

We have divided this quite busy year, which includes the participation of 314,464 people, into our main four courses of action: artistic and professional; educational and social; local development; and business management. See and download the 2018/2019 season Report here (we are sorry but at the moment it is only available in Spanish).

This season-report brings together the actions that Auditorio de Tenerife has offered for citizens in the 2019/2020 season, inevitably conditioned by the COVID-19 pandemic. It has been six months of normality and six months of paradigm shift that have marked a season at two paces. In these twelve months 127.330 visitors, including spectators and participants, enjoyed the offer of Auditorio de Tenerife (only available in Spanish by the moment).
