Concert number sixteen of Sinfónica de Tenerife’s 2019/2020 season
Lutoslawski recomposed the drafts that were saved of his First Symphony after the Second World War and created a Neo-Classicist music -reminiscent of Stravinsky- based on tonal writing which the Soviets did not hesitate to label as formalist. Music, a weapon loaded with future, as Celaya would say, brings us the world premiere of Tangaraste, by Trujillo and Collider by Bjarnason, for the first time by the orchestra.
In collaboration with Tenerife Contemporary Music Festival (FMUC).
Daniel Bjarnason, conductor
Francisco Díaz Martín, percussion
Emilio Díaz Martín, percussion
Carlos Llácer Cantó, percussion
Juan Antonio Mañana Osca, percussion
