20TH ANNIVERSARY
The Auditorio de Tenerife celebrates its 20th anniversary with a concert that resumes some of the key elements of its inaugural concert in 2003, such as the musical director, Víctor Pablo Pérez, the Sinfónica de Tenerife (Tenerife Symphony Orchestra) and Fanfarria real (2003), a piece specifically commissioned by that time to the Polish composer Krzysztof Penderecki, who passed away in 2020. The central work of the concert is the Messa da Requiem (1874) by Giuseppe Verdi. The soprano Krassimira Stoyanova, the tenor Airam Hernández, the mezzo-soprano Olesya Petrova, and the bass Alessio Cacciamani are the musicians who will give these scores a voice. They will be accompanied by the choirs Coro Ópera de Tenerife and Coro de la Comunidad de Madrid.
