Afrocán
The Auditorio de Tenerife hosts the FMUC Contemporary Music Festival. On this occasion, the première of new work by composer Francis Hernández is being presented: Afrocán.
Afrocán is the title of the new work by the composer Francis Hernández. It is a suite written for an ensemble of popular instruments inspired by the document and exhibition of the same title created by the Canary Islands-born sculptor Martin Chirino. The percussion group of the Higher Music Conservatory of the Canary Islands and Hernández himself plus other collaborating musicians will perform this new creation.
Access is only allowed to children over five years of age.
