Camané y Laginha
The Auditorio de Tenerife presents this concert of fado singer Camané with pianist Mário Laginha.
This is not the first pairing of the two artists, who have performed together on other occasions. The fluid rapport of their sporadic collaborations in the past has led to this new project: Aqui está-se sossegado is built from the ground up to accommodate a voice and a piano that have not ceased in their mutual exploration ever since their first encounter.
The concerts that comprise Aqui está-se sossegado will include some 20 songs from the traditional fado repertoire and that of Camané, in addition to a series of new compositions of Mário Laginha, who provided the music to accompany the poem of Álvaro de Campos Ai Margarida, heard on one of Camane’s more recent recordings.
Access is only allowed to children over five years of age.
