Innovative and original, the proposal of the OST second conductor, Edmon Colomer, consists of several pieces from the 20th century. It comprises Bela Bartók’s concerto for two pianos and percussion, which is not often performed, including an arrangement his agent asked him to make, for the same soloist ensemble. Gustavo Díaz Jerez, an expert in contemporary repertoires and Javier Negrín, are the Tenerife pianists who are ready to meet this challenge, along with the wonderful percussion soloists: the brothers Francisco and Emilio Díaz Martín.

The symphonies for wind instruments were written by Stravinsky as a tribute to the memory of his admired Debussy. The version offered is the one the composer himself made in 1947. The concert closes with The Rite of Spring, the great master piece from his rebellious youth, which when first performed provoked one of the greatest scandals in the History of Music. Concert in collaboration with Tenerife Contemporary Music Festival (FMUC)
