Cyberpunk Remastered II
The Auditorio de Tenerife hosts two concerts of the Tenerife International Film Music Festival (Fimucité): Cyberpunk Remastered (Vol. 1) – Manga/Anime and Cyberpunk Remastered (Vol.2) -Ghost in the Shell.
The second concert revolves around the Cyberpunk aesthetic. Ghost in the Shell offers exclusive performances of the soundtracks from some of the most outstanding film titles where robotics plays a pivotal and revolutionary role. From the seminal Metropolis by Fritz Lang to the two iterations of Tron, with the music of Wendy Carlos and Daft Punk respectively, as well as Pacific Rim by Guillermo del Toro, with the energetic music of Ramin Djawadi, and Robocop, a masterpiece by Paul Verhoeven that had a sensational musical score by Basil Poledouris.
The second part of the concert will be the main part (as in the concerts on Friday and Saturday). We will have the chance to enjoy numerous world premieres listening to life music of key sagas of the genre. That's the case of Matrix or Terminator; other titles like Transformers or the successful video game Cyberpunk 2077. Likewise, the mythical Blade Runner, which, on its 40th anniversary, will be performed by the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra and the Tenerife Film Choir under the baton of the composer and conductor Diego Navarro, director of Fimucité.
Fimucité 16
Cyberpunk emerged in science fiction alongside authors such as William Gibson and Bruce Sterling in the 1980s and presents dystopian futures where technology and robots rule the world. It is the inspiration for the repertoire of soundtracks that will be performed this year at the Tenerife International Film Music Festival (FIMUCITÉ).
This will be the leitmotiv of the sixteenth edition of the Festival. Thus, the music from the key cyberpunk sagas, such as the ‘Matrix’ and ‘Terminator’, and other titles such as ‘Transformers’, ‘Robocop’ or the legendary ‘Blade Runner’, as part of the 40th anniversary of the release of the film by Ridley Scott, will be performed by the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra and the Tenerife Film Choir, conducted by the composer and orchestra conductor Diego Navarro.
At this new edition, in addition to the programme of concerts, the public will once again be able to enjoy events with major composers, such as the American Brad Fiedel, creator of the soundtracks for ‘Terminator’ and ‘Terminator 2’, who will be part of the line-up of guests at Fimucité 16.

Buying at the box office or by phone (902 317 327) a ticket for each concert in any of the zones, a €10 discount is applied to the total purchase.

El Cyberpunk, nacido en la ciencia ficción de la mano de autores como William Gibson o Bruce Sterling en la década de 1980 y que plantea futuros distópicos donde la tecnología y la robótica dominan el mundo, es la inspiración para el repertorio de bandas sonoras que sonarán este año en el Festival Internacional de Música de Cine de Tenerife (FIMUCITÉ).
Este será el leitmotiv de la decimosexta edición del Festival. De este modo, la música de sagas clave del 'cyberpunk', como ‘Matrix’ o ‘Terminator’, y otros títulos como ‘Tron’, ‘Robocop’ o la mítica ‘Blade Runner’, en el marco del 40º aniversario del estreno de la película de Ridley Scott, serán interpretadas por la Orquesta Sinfónica de Tenerife y el Tenerife Film Choir bajo la dirección del compositor y director de orquesta Diego Navarro.
En esta nueva edición, además del programa de conciertos el público podrá disfrutar nuevamente de encuentros con grandes compositores, como el estadounidense Brad Fiedel, autor de las bandas sonoras de ‘Terminator’ y ‘Terminator 2’, quien formará parte del plantel de invitados de Fimucité 16.
NOTICE: Due to the maximum alert decreed by the Government of the Canary Islands, Auditorio de Tenerife suspends the activity scheduled for Saturday 24th September, which includes the concert Cyberpunk Remastered (Vol. 2)-The Soul of the Machine.
Tickets will be refunded from next week in the same way in which they were purchased, without the need to request a refund. If the tickets were purchased online through our website or at the box office by dataphone, the refund will be made automatically to the same bank account; however, if the purchase was made with cash, you will have to go to the box office when the alert ends from Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 17:00 hours and Saturday from 10:00 to 14:00 hours, except holidays.
This decision does not affect the Fimucité 16 concert scheduled for today at 19:30, Cyberpunk Remastered (Vol. 1)-Manga/Anime, which will go ahead as normal.
