The final touch of Fimucité 17 will be added by the symphonic concerts that the Auditorio de Tenerife will host on Friday 14 and Saturday 15 July, devoted to the world of comics and their stars, heroes, and villains, which have greatly inspired films throughout history.
Dioses y detectives (Gods and detectives), devoted to DC Comics, will offer a programme with performances of the soundtracks that have featured on the big screen accompanying superheroes such as Superman and Batman, villains such as Joker, and other characters from the noir genre, such as The Crow. In this concert it is worth highlighting the performance of the score from The Batman, also by Giacchino, along with the suite from the now legendary 300, by Tyler Bates. We will also be able to enjoy titles such as Man of Steel, Superman, or The Rocketeer, as well as the world premiere of The Killing Joke, by Lolita Ritmanis, among others.
The concert will have renowned guests, such as Tyler Bates, a regular collaborator of James Gunn and Zack Snyder and composer of the music for 300, Guardians of the Galaxy, Deadpool 2, Watchmen, and the series The Punisher, whose scores will be heard this year at Fimucité.
Also returning to Fimucité are the trio Dynamic Music Partners, formed by the three composers Lolita Ritmanis, Michael McCuistion, and Kristopher Carter, who have written the music for several Marvel and DC animation films, such as Batman Beyond.
Also back at Fimucité is the extraordinary drummer Greg Ellis, whose performances have featured in more than 200 films, television, and video game soundtracks, including 300, Iron Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Assassin's Creed.

The 17th edition of the Tenerife International Film Music Festival (Fimucité), the oldest event of its kind in Europe, will revolve around the fantastic world of comics and their stars, heroes, and villains, who have so greatly inspired films throughout history. Directed by the renowned composer and orchestra conductor Diego Navarro, the event will offer concerts with performances of the compositions created for the most popular film adaptations of comics, notably including the magnificent soundtracks of the Marvel and DC film universes.
Two-concert subscription: € 5 discount by purchasing both concerts in zones A, B, and C. Only available at the box office from Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., except for public holidays.
