El circo de don Nicanor
El circo de don Nicanor (Don Nicanor’s Circus) is a family concert by the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra. The 11:00 a.m. session is for babies only and the 12:30 p.m. session is open to all and recommended for children over three years of age (full information under the "Tickets" section).
"This is Don Nicanor, who lived in a flower". This is how this poetic story of Don Nicanor begins, a selfless and fantastic character who travels the world rescuing animals in troubles: a cow, a monkey, a penguin, a bear, a cat, a dog, a sperm whale, a donkey... Together they decide to open a circus in which each of them participates with their own peculiar skills.
The toy piano, played by Ernesto Mateo, and members of the Chamber Ensemble from the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra will be the leads of this stage concert with music by Víctor Trescolí, in which the verses of the great poet and pedagogue Mar Benegas will reveal the story of Don Nicanor and his circus to the little ones. Narrated by Ana Hernández Sanchiz, this story is illustrated by the artist Ximo Abadía, whose drawings will frame the show.

The tickets can be purchased at the Auditorio's box office from Monday to Friday from 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., except for public holidays. This concert is specifically for babies from 0 to 3 years of age, and they may be accompanied by a maximum of two adults. Children who have not reached the age of four on the day of the show will not need to purchase a ticket if they are not going to occupy a seat. When accessing the hall, you will be required to have a document proving the minor's age (ID card or family book). Pushchairs and prams are not allowed in the hall.
