COMPOSERS GATHERING

Auditorio de Tenerife, which offers the programme of Contemporary Music Festival FMUC, presents the third composers gathering of the musical initiative with the presence of regional artists: Francis Hernández, Celia Rivero, Rubens Askenar, and Nino Díaz. Later, a concert will be held with the premières of works of the guest composers or the first performances of these works in Spain.

Many of these regional composers have earned a place for themselves outside the islands. It will thus be a showcase for musical creation of the last century, especially that which is emerging at present, both on the international, national, and local scene, creating synergies between regional production and what is produced in other international countries. Like in the last edition, it will be used to première compositions by regional authors, which Canarian artists and the accordionist María Zubimendi from Guipuzcoa will perform.
