The Auditorio de Tenerife presents the show Teorema, by Javier Martín.
In Teorema, the body's resonances comprise a soundscape for dance. They unfold in a score-like space where objects like smoke, coal, rope, ice, or glass, are mysteriously arranged to bloom. The dancing body livens up the space for dance. The body symphony is the space symphony and vice versa. It is a proposal on the relationship between the inner and the outer world, between matter and memory. It encourages us to question and break with the inertias through which we perceive ourselves and relate to our environment. Nothing is as it seems, and yet we work with what is available. "It evidences that science makes promises that are only kept in the flesh, but in a very mysterious way..." (Roberto Fratini). Choreography, flesh and grammar.
