Auditorio de Tenerife staging show Lost Letters, by the Lucía Lacarra Ballet.

Lost Letters, the first and exciting production choreographed by Matthew Golding, tells a moving and evocative story that will enthral audience members of all ages. Lost Letters explores the subject of lost connections and invites us to think about the power of communication. Through the dancers' incredible technical skill and artistic expressiveness, Lost Letters takes the audience on a visually striking emotional journey. The innovative and dynamic choreography combined with a captivating selection of music (The Waves, Rachmaninoff and Max Richter), creates an atmosphere that transports the audience to a world of shared emotions and experiences.

In any war throughout history, handwritten letters from the front line with concerned responses returned from home offered a vital link between soldiers and their families and loved ones. However, what would happen if one of those letters got lost? Based on a real letter written by the First World War gunner Frank Bracey to his wife, Win, Lost Letters imagines how the fate of that woman could have changed if she had never received the letter sent to her by her beloved husband. Lost Letters transforms a true story into a script and original plot for a ballet.
