 Auditorio de Tenerife (Puerto Hall)

The Auditorio de Tenerife presents the FMUC Contemporary Music Festival. On this occasion, it is a meeting of composers with the participation of the Canarian artists Fernando Ortí, Eduardo Rojo, Gustavo Trujillo, Nino Díaz and the American John Wooton, with Francis Hernández as moderator.

Many of these regional composers have managed to earn a place for themselves outside of the islands, and it will thus be a showcase for musical creation of the last century, especially that which is emerging at present, both on the international, national, and local scene, creating synergies between Canarian production and what is produced in other international countries. Just like in the last edition, it will be used to première compositions by regional authors which will be performed by Canarian artists.

Later, a concert will be held with the premières of works of the guest composers or the first performances of these works in Spain.

FMUC 2023 has the collaboration of Fundación MAPFRE Canarias, the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Canarias, the Conservatorio Profesional de Música and The University of Southern Mississippi.

Entry is free until the full capacity is reached.

Access is only allowed to children over five years of age.
