Lua
Auditorio de Tenerife presents in La Salita the family show Lua, by Voilá Producciones.
Lua is about being afraid of the unknown. It is a story of light and shadow in which light plays one of the characters. Appearing on a simple wooden stairway of an old building, the verse tamer recounts her childhood memories. On those steps, she used to give her imagination free rein, playing a game where she would create incredible worlds, such as that of the Shadowless City. The stairway opens up, turns and, following Lua’s footsteps, is transformed into a small lamp that boldly faces her fears and discovers the beauty hidden within the darkness. This narrative poem is a sensitive, artistic installation and a sophisticated theatrical work.
In the Shadowless City, everyone is afraid of the dark, which is why they leave their lights on. But one day, Lua, the curious lamp, decides to find out what will happen if she switches off her light. As a result, she meets Shadow, an elusive being who shows her the beauty hidden within her world.
