A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM
Mendelssohn looking at Shakespeare, wonderful! in music that accompanied him practically throughout his life. Incidental music for a piece that has kept its theatrical nature and in which, between dreams and fantasies, we will listen to donkey’s braying, nocturnes for lovers, the famous Wedding March or the magic of flowers in the hands of Puck and Oberon… and finally, the triumph of love!
