The foundations of our policy are based on the Auditorio's aim to create a valuable and sustainable relationship between the public, music, opera and the performing arts, in an open and transparent manner, promoting equal opportunities and good governance in management.

In relation to environmental management, the Auditorio de Tenerife wants to focus on reducing its energy consumption, water consumption, reducing the consumption of packaging, plastics, paper and cardboard and the correct segregation of its waste.

These actions are manifested in the following objectives:

→ To reduce electricity consumption in the Auditorio de Tenerife

→ To reduce water consumption

→ To optimise how chemicals are consumed and how the chemical waste is managed

→ To reduce the use of posters, paper promotional material, and office paper

→  Reducing CO2 missions

For all these reasons, the Auditorio de Tenerife strives for ongoing environmental improvement for the benefit of the society.

One of the actions that confirms this commitment is the calculation of the carbon footprint, which is evident in the adhesion to the register of carbon footprint, compensation and carbon dioxide absorption projects of the Spanish Office for Climate Change (OECC) of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge. The following certificate accredits registration in the Calculation phase with scopes 1 and 2, which include the emissions emitted by the activity and consumption carried out by Auditorio de Tenerife. Currently, work is being carried out on lines of improvement for their reduction and/or compensation (Reduzco and Compenso phases).
