Bolero
Enjoy the intensity and charm of Ravel's Boléro with the Sinfónica de Tenerife under the direction of Giancarlo Guerrero. The programme starts with Fandangos by Roberto Sierra. This vibrant work draws on the traditional rhythms of Spain and continues with Prokofiev's dynamic Piano Concerto No. 3, interpreted by pianist Denis Kozhukhin. The concert concludes with Ravel's Boléroand, the hypnotically repetitive rhythmic progression that has made it one of the most widely recognised and beloved classical repertoire works.
