La medida que nos ha de dividir

The FAM Festival (Arts and Movement Festival) will offer the show "La medida que nos ha de dividir" of the Qabalum Company at two Santa Cruz de Tenerife locations. 

Two locations are needed for the creation of a border. Parallel lines fill this work and cross through us simultaneously. It is neither specific nor unique nor ours. If we do not exist, we cannot be vessels of anything nor the measure that must divide us. Be that as it may, how could we even sense that this was the future? 

The project was backed by the DNA 2021 Programme, by the Dantzan Bilaka 2022 and received further support from the residencies of the National Dance Company 2022. The piece also won the Focus Day Award at the 10 Sentidos International Competition in 2022 and first prize in the eighth DanzaXtrema Choreography Competition, and it was included in the 2022 catalogue of Red Acieloabierto.
