The FAM Festival (Arts and Movement Festival) brings the show NO/MAS/SACRE by dancer and choreographer Reinaldo Ribeiro to the Espacio La Granja.

NO/MAS/SACRE runs contrary to a trivial dialogue with Stravinsky, completely immersing itself in its underlying complexity. Directed by Reinaldo Ribeiro in collaboration with ballerina Aymará Parola and pianist Lea Petra, the work claims the right to ire, virtuosity and excellence. In the (translated) words of Angelica Liddell: "...excess; beautiful excess. Liberating excess; excess that reveals societal repression". The piece unfolds in the seemingly classic triangle of piano, pianist and ballerina only to subvert expectations through a dizzying ritual of the pleasurable, the grotesque and the transgressive.

NO/MAS/SACRE explores the limits of the human body, in which movement and sound redefine the rules and laws that govern their encounter. Driven by the urgency of the present time, these tensions manifest as a mighty fountainhead of affection and turbulence. This link confirms the desire to create a piece such as NO/MAS/SACRE from a perspective of decoloniality, feminism, and commitment.
