El vendedor de humo
On 15 and 16 November, La Salita will offer El vendedor de humo (The Smoke Vendor), a one-person show directed and performed by Joan Font, the founder of the theatre company Comediants. The show reviews Mr Font's personal life and career and marks the company's 50 years of professional experience.
El vendedor de humo (The Smoke Vendor) is a show created by Font to commemorate the company's 50 years of existence and to review his career as an artist with audiences. Projections, masks, and other resources the company is known for will accompany his performance to thrill and delight the public equally. Throughout the show, Joan Font will recount in great theatrical style the essential adventures and aspects of his lengthy career and life, engaging the public in the processes of the company's creation and staging of its shows. Using projections, music and lighting, along with items he will bring onstage in a suitcase, he will take audiences on a long journey without leaving the theatre. It is an indispensable tribute to a unique form of theatrical language.
Directed by Joan Font himself, El vendedor de Humo (The Smoke Vendor) is a four-handed creation between Font and the screenwriter Piti Español.
