The penultimate event of Primavera Musical takes place this Sunday 

 

This Sunday, 12 June, at 11:30 a.m., the Auditorio de Tenerife hosts at the Chamber Hall a penultimate concert of the "Primavera Musical" cycle, with performances of the wind bands Alcaraván, San Sebastián and Isorana, coming from San Juan de la Rambla, Tejina (La Laguna) and Guía de Isora, respectively. The cycle is an initiative by the federation 'Federación Tinerfeña de Bandas de Música' and the collaboration of the Tenerife Island Council. 

The band Asociación Artística Alcaraván, founded in 1870 in the municipality of San Juan de la Rambla, will perform three pieces in the Auditorio de Tenerife: Jordi, by José Rafael Pascual-Vilaplana, Irlenad: of legend and lore, by Robert Smith; and Star Wars Saga, by John Williams, arranged by Stephn Bulla. The band will be conducted by Miguel Ángel Arrocha.

The second brass band that participates during this Sunday's concert is the Asociación Musical San Sebastián, from Tejina. Conducted by Oswaldo Raiko Cruz, the band will perform Icod, by José Martín Domingo, Pequeña Czarda, by Pedro Iturralde, with Jacob Molina saxophonist soloist, and Morlacki Ples, by Tonci Ciceric.

The last band performing at this second last event of Primavera Musical will be Agrupación Musical Isorana, founded in 1958. Under the direction of Francisco Enrique Carvajal, the band from Guía de Isora will perform in the Auditorio de Tenerife a programme starting with A thousand years, by Hoges and Christina Perri, arranged by Paul Murtha, to continue with the Ouverture Festive, by Andre Waignein, and Everest-Concert Marcha, by Jacob de Haan.
