The event takes place in the Chamber Hall at 11:30 a.m., as part of the Primavera Musical cycle.

The Auditorio de Tenerife offers this Sunday [14th], at 11:30 a.m. in the Chamber Hall, a concert by the music bands Nuestra Señora de los Remedios, Amigos del Arte of San Andrés and San Marcos Evangelista, from the municipalities of Buenavista, Santa Cruz, and Tegueste, respectively. This activity is part of the Primavera Musical cycle, which started in 2005 as an initiative of the federation 'Federación Tinerfeña de Bandas de Música' with the collaboration of the Tenerife Island Council.

José Humberto Martín de Armas leads the band 'Agrupación Musical Nuestra Señora de los Remedios', a group founded in Buenavista in 1929, to offer a repertoire that begins with the pasodoble Recordando a un amigo, by Paulino Martí, and continues with James Horner's The mask of Zorro, arranged by Ton van Grevenbroek, followed by Louis Armstrong’s legend, by Giancarlo Gazzani, and El baile de Luis Alonso, by Gerónimo Giménez.

Founded in 1967, the band 'Amigos del Arte de San Andrés' is preparing a new concert with the Primavera Musical cycle. Under the direction of Juan Antonio Domínguez Martín, the performance includes three works: Tierra Canaria, by Cabrera Santamaría; Shalom, by Philip Spark, and the entr’acte from the zarzuela La pícara molinera, by Pablo Luna.

The closing of this eighth day of the Primavera Musical 2023 cycle will be performed by the Agrupación Musical San Marcos Evangelista, from Tegueste, conducted by Ismael Jesús Brajín González, who will offer Suspiros de España, by Antonio Álvarez Alonso, Lloyd Weber's Phantom of the Opera, arranged by Johan de Meij, and Pixar Movie Magic, with arrangements by Michael Brown.
