Auditorio de Tenerife joins in the events held to celebrate International Jazz Day 2019 on Tuesday, the 30th with a concert featuring artists from different countries.  At 08:30 pm the Sala de Cámara welcomes these musicians who are among the most talented of the current jazz scene.

Artists coming to Tenerife include Armenian pianist Liya Grigoryan, multiple award-winner, and currently living in the United States; Israeli musician Eran Har Even; Sara Decker, the German singer, who won an award in Montreux, and will be accompanied by excellent musicians, including one of the most international Canarian artists: Kike Perdomo.

Pianist Liya Grigorian was born in Armenia and started her musical studies when she was 5 years old at Kim Nazaretov Jazz School in Rostov-on-Don, Russia. Aged 6, she was actively taking part in musical competitions and playing in festivals in Russia and Europe. She won her first award in 1998 when she was just 7 at the International Jazz Competition for young musicians in St. Petersburg.

Israel-born Eran Har Even is a guitarist, composer and teacher. Since he arrived in Holland, where he now lives, he has made a name for himself in the Dutch jazz scene, recording and performing with some of the best musicians in local and international concerts. He is also working on a method on guitar polyphony in the jazz language.

German artist Sara Decker is a jazz singer and composer specialised in emerging pop styles mixed with jazz artistic improvisations. She is well-known for her subtle tone, impressive register and her stories sung from the heart.

Kike Perdomo is a Canarian musician, producer, teacher, sound engineer and composer. After living in mainland Spain, in the 1990s he played in different clubs and festivals of the jazz scene. He has also played with rock singers including Luz Casal, Miguel Ríos and Joaquín Sabina travelling across Spain and Latin America. He works in projects like Big Band de Canarias, Imazighen, Collective, Mojo, Esther Ovejero Qt, Ensemble Salvaje, and Nuclear Jazz Professors.
