A major feature in the 35th Festival de Música de Canarias is the concert by Hamburg Philharmonic State Orchestra, an internationally relevant orchestra. Their presence at the Festival is strengthen by their conductor, Japanese descent North-American Kent Nagano, one of the most popular maestros in the last decades.

They will play Mozart ('The Magic Flute' Overture) and Brahms (Violin Concerto in D Major and Symphony Nº 4 in E Minor) including soloist, Veronika Eberle, dubbed by some critics as the German successor of Anne-Sophie Mutter.
